TARVIS membes have been digitizing art works, buildingas and archaeological sites since 2004. The exact documenting of 3D geometry and colour of real world is one of the research lines of TARVIS group. Most recent projects in this topic are:
Virtual Web Portal of Cultural Heritage of Andalusian UniversitiesIt have been digitized 26 sculptures and 9 historical sites of universities of Granda, Jaén, Málaga and Seville. The accurate models that have been obtained are used in a new website where it is possible to navigate through and examine such artworks, apart from other art pieces documented with photographs and textual information. 3D Digitizing of Thutmosis III Temple, Luxor (Egypt)On november 2012 a 0.6mm/10m resolution model of the Thutmosis III Temple has been obtained by our researcher, F.J. Melero, invited by the excavation, restoration, conservation and site management project of the Mortuary Temple of Thutmosis III, located on the West bank of Luxor, (http://www.thutmosistempleproject.org). 3D Doumenting of Íllora Castle and VillageDuring 2012 summer, under the auspices of the project “Sistemas avanzados de levantamiento y documentación gráfica del patrimonio: La Alcazaba de Guadix y el castillo y villa de Íllora (Granada)", it was digitized the Íllora castle and village archaeological site by using a Faro Focus 3D scanner.
